This is a rare, originalReal Photo Postcard (RPPC)documenting a major fire at theOld Louisiana State Capitolin Baton Rouge. Captured during the early 20th century, the image shows smoke billowing from the landmark’s iconic Gothic Revival towers.The reverse features theAZO stamp boxwith four triangles pointing up, which dates the photographic paper manufacture specifically to the1904–1918period. This is an incredible primary source document for historians of Louisiana or collectors of disaster-related ephemera.Condition Notes:

Back:Clean and unposted. Shows light age-toning and very minor foxing/spotting consistent with its 100+ year age.
Overall:Excellent vintage condition. The corners are slightly rounded but the card remains structurally sound.
