Vintage 1958 Lourdes France Centennial Alpaca Bubble Rosary Saint Bernadette:
$134.50

For your consideration is a vintage 1958 Lourdes Lucite bubble rosary commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the 1858 apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Lourdes, France. 14 year old Bernadette Soubirous witnessed the apparitions and was instructed by Mary to dig in the mud, uncovering a spring whose waters had healing properties. The 100 year anniversary event drew millions of people to Lourdes. This beautiful rosary was purchased then, and each bubble bead contained water from the healing spring in Lourdes. Over the years the water in the beads evaporated, but the rosary remains beautiful, and a lovely keepsake from this miraculous event. The centerpiece of the rosary says, “1858 Je suis L’Immaculee Conception.” Meaning, “I am the Immaculate Conception,” Mary’s words to Bernadette.

The beautiful rosary is in very good vintage condition with all its beads present. Please see my photos for best detail. Don’t miss this opportunity to make it yours!
