Up for sale is an incredibly rare piece of fast-food and local restaurant ephemera. This is an original, authentic vintage 1960s dual-advertising "Pocketbox" wooden matchbox featuring early branding for Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) on one side, and Duff's Quality Food Restaurant of Winchester, Virginia on the flip side.
In the early days of franchise expansion, Colonel Sanders famously partnered with established local diners and restaurants to serve his trademark chicken. Duff’s Restaurant (located at 2655 Valley Ave in Winchester, VA) was one of those early locations. This unique piece of history beautifully documents that crossover era.
