Vintage General Electric Model 3H06 “Pristine” electric mantel clock with a classic tambour-style wooden case, rounded central arch, sweeping sides, and a stepped base.
The warm gold-colored dial features stylized black Arabic numerals, decorative black hour and minute hands, a slender seconds hand, and a red indicator window beneath the 12. The dial is signed General Electric and surrounded by a brass-colored bezel with a domed glass cover.
The underside retains its General Electric identification label:
• Model 3H06
• 115 volts / 60 cycles / 2 watts
• Made in U.S.A.
Operation:
The clock runs when plugged in, and the seconds hand advances, as shown in the accompanying video. Long-term timekeeping accuracy has not been verified.
Condition:
The wooden case shows age-related scratches, scuffs, small nicks, edge wear, and scattered finish imperfections. A fine vertical line or split is visible below the dial on the front. The dial and bezel show age-related wear. The underside has staining and surface marks, with the identification label still present.
Includes the attached brown power cord and two-prong plug, which show age and wear. Electrical components have not been professionally inspected.
A handsome vintage American tambour clock for a mantel, shelf, or desk.
