Vintage Handmade Cutwork Placemats Set 6 Dutch St Maarten Tropical Floral Applique 19x14
Beautiful set of six vintage handmade cutwork placemats acquired from the Dutch side of St. Maarten in the 1970s.
Each placemat features an intricate hand-cut and appliquéd floral vine design in vibrant tropical colors. The detailed craftsmanship and openwork construction create a stunning presentation for table settings while also making these gorgeous decorative textiles for display.
This piece is in beautiful vintage condition — well-preserved and vibrant. A couple of placemats have some minor discoloration/spotting in areas, as seen in photographs. Please keep in mind this is a vintage item and not new. Please view all photos as they are part of the I’m happy to answer any questions or send additional photos upon request.
