A truly distinctive vintage Indian metal vessel with a beautiful bronze appearance, wonderful natural patina, and an unusual pair of functional hanging bells.

Standing 11.5” tall, this sculptural piece has a beautifully proportioned rounded body, elongated neck, and ornate scrolling side elements. Suspended from each side is a small metal bell that actually rings, giving the piece even more personality and charm.

The surface is especially beautiful, with rich bronze-brown tones and naturally developed green/verdigris-style patina throughout. The coloration and aging are reminiscent of vintage bronze and copper-alloy pieces. The exact metal composition has not been tested, so it is being described as bronze-tone metal rather than confirmed solid bronze.

This is also a surprisingly substantial piece, weighing 2.7 lbs, giving it wonderful heft and presence for its size. The original “Made in India” label remains intact on the underside.
