VERY Vintage Farm Equipment Advertisement. Hard to find! McCormick (International Harvester.)
Vintage "McCormick" Binder & Mower Right Hand / Left Hand Promo Advertising, 1890's?
IMPORTANT:My research has not been able to determine the "exact" age of this advertising piece. Some suggest the 1890's? If you know different, please contact me and I will update my listing, Thanks!
This is a cool and eye catching advertising piece and it is quite rare. It features two cutouts of a human hand; left and right. On the reverse side are beautiful drawings of McCormick equipment. I believe the purpose of this ad was to introduce equipment that was "right."
The hands are each about 6" high and 3" wide at the widest point.
In my opinion, the "Right" hand is in excellent condition. The "Left" hand has a very faint marking (I believe pencil) on the back in the lower left hand corner. See picture #7. I did NOT try to remove the mark for fear of ruining the antique piece. It "might" come off with an eraser, or it might not?
The first 7 pictures were taken on a wood slab background.
I took pictures outside on a partly sunny day. I honestly believe that natural light shows the product the best. Please review all of the picturesas I hid nothing when taking them. My customers are satisfied because when you buy from me, there are no unpleasant surprises. Please ask any questions BEFORE offerding. Ships to USA only.
Will ship USPS Ground Advantage, with tracking & insurance, figured to your zip code. I am mailing it in a cardboard box to protect it. Using a padded mailer is too risky.I doNOTmark up shipping NOR do I charge a handling fee.
I do combine shipping on multiple purchases, when possible, but you have to ask.
I give positive response after I receive it. That way I know that you are 100% satisfied and that our transaction is complete.
Thanks for your interest, this is a neat and rare McCormick Farm Equipment "blast from the past" advertisement sure to start a conversation! Good Luck! Such beautiful artwork!
