Vintage Singer Childs Toy Sewing Machine Black Plastic Foot Pedal in Box:
$38.00

The item in the selected region is a vintage Singer child\'s toy sewing machine, specifically a vintage \"SewHandy\" style chainstitch model.Key Features• Functionality: These miniature machines were designed for children to learn basic sewing. They typically produce a simple chainstitch rather than a lockstitch, meaning they only use a single top thread (the white spool on top) instead of a bottom bobbin.
• Operation: This particular model features a hand-crank wheel on the side to actuate the needle, combined with a battery-operated foot pedal and motor assembly. The foot pedal connects via a power cord to operate the internal motor or activate an integrated work light above the sewing area.
• Included Material: The picture features the original instructional booklet explicitly titled \"Understanding Your Child\'s Sewing Machine,\" which contains basic operating lessons and tips on adjusting thread tension. The mechanism kind of works. There appears to be a short in the cord, but the pieces all move and operate, just not in a continuous, smooth manner.
