Vintage Norwegian pewter lidded pedestal bowl by Snorre Norsk Tinn, marked BJH 39.

Handcrafted in Norway in the mid-century era. The bowl features beautifully embossed relief panels depicting Viking longships with billowing sails and a warrior on horseback, framed by braided Nordic borders. The tall conical lid is topped with a shield finial bearing a Viking warrior\'s helmeted profile, and the bowl rests on an elegant trumpet-shaped pedestal foot. \"Tinn\" is Norwegian for pewter.

A striking piece of Scandinavian folk-art metalware — perfect as a candy dish, centerpiece, or display piece.

The total height of the bowl is about 8 inches. The bowl is 6 inches wide. The pedestal is four inches wide.

In good vintage condition with age-appropriate patina and light tarnish spotting consistent with age. The bowl has a lean to one side however there is no indication of damage. Please see photos
