A heavy, vintage pair of Stanford University mascot-themed bookends in cast metal with a dark patina and warm bronze/brass-toned highlights. Each features a stylized historic Stanford mascot figure within an arched architectural frame with small rosette details—great statement pieces for a bookshelf, office, or alumni display.
Stanford University was founded in 1885 by Leland and Jane Stanford in memory of their son, and it opened to students in 1891 in Stanford, California.

Surface wear throughout including scuffs, scratches, and rub wear to the raised/high-point areas. Patina variation and darkening in areas. Small spots of oxidation/verdigris present (including small greenish spots). Minor edge wear to bases and corners.
