Before Disneyland had apps, Lightning Lanes and smartphones, this was how you brought the magic home.
Offered here is a fantastic vintage Walt Disney’s Disneyland tabletop pinball/bagatelle game by Verne Toy — and yes, it still works.
Pull back the original orange spring-loaded plunger, send the ball onto the playfield and watch it work its way through the pins, scoring areas and bright red spinning obstacles. The mechanical game functions as intended, making this much more than a piece of Disney wall art.
The real star, though, is the playfield.
It is essentially a miniature snapshot of Disneyland from another era, packed with imagery from Main Street U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Primeval World and the Dumbo Ride, alongside classic Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy.
There is something especially fun about a Disney collectible that can still do exactly what it was made to do decades later.
No batteries.
No screen.
No updates.
Just pull the plunger and play.
The game retains its colorful vintage Disneyland graphics, clear molded playing surface, red spinning obstacles, scoring areas, multiple balls, mechanical components, original-style orange launcher and green reverse panel.
Condition
Vintage pre-owned and fully functional.
The game has been tested and the mechanical gameplay works, including the spring-loaded ball launcher and playfield components.
It also shows legitimate age and use. The clear plastic cover has considerable surface scratching, scuffing, cloudiness and age-related discoloration. The green reverse panel shows scratches, marks and edge wear. The interior graphics show age but remain colorful, detailed and extremely appealing.
Nothing has been cosmetically restored. What you see is the real vintage piece, not something polished into looking new.
Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.
For the serious Disney collector, vintage toy collector, Disneyland historian, or the person whose Disney room already has everything else, this is the kind of piece people stop and ask about.
And unlike a lot of vintage toys that spend their retirement sitting on a shelf…
this one is still ready to play.
