This vintage Wards Master Quality single bit camp hatchet features a forged carbon steel head stamped with the iconic three-line WARDS MASTER QUALITY maker's mark on the cheek. The head is fitted to an ergonomic curved wooden handle with a contoured fawn's foot pommel and a drilled lanyard hole for easy field transport or hanging storage.
The hatchet remains in sturdy, functional collectible condition with a natural dark patina and light surface pitting across the forged steel. The cutting bit retains a clean profile with light sharpening wear, while the poll remains firm with minimal flattening. The wood handle is firmly wedged into the eye, providing a tight, wobble-free fit. Please review all detailed photos for precise condition and cosmetic surface characteristics.
