Vintage steel flashlight RARE
DOWNSIZING.
A WWII Czechoslovakian flashlight metal body with a wire handle and wire button loop, with a mark indicating it was made in the interwar period (1920s-1930s) in the region. While its exact appearance varied, its key features included a flat, multi-cell battery compartment designed for German 4.5-volt batteries and a sturdy, functional design, it does show signs of age and rust. Please view photos carefully as they show condition.
Sold as is. Does not work. I wanted to find a battery for it but just displayed it in my laundry room. SOLD AS IS. I found it to be a very interesting piece.
Shape: Typically square, though other shapes existed.
Material: Metal, often with signs of wear or rust.
Power Source: Used German-style 4.5-volt flat batteries.
Handle & Button: Featured a practical wire handle and a wire loop for the button.
Markings: Often marked \"Czechoslovakia\" and dated to the interwar period.
If my description is wrong, please let me know. I wrote it by comparing it to those that sold online on e b a y.
Disclosure: I strongly believe in recycling and therefore reuse any and all shipping supplies that are clean and in reusable condition. This applies mainly, but not exclusively, to shipping boxes. Thank you for helping to reduce landfill waste.
