Vtg 1939 Art Deco RCA Model 9TX-33 Little Nipper AM Tabletop Tube Radio For Sale

Fresh from a local estate that had hundreds of radios, this is a vintage 1939 RCA Model 9TX-33 "Little Nipper" Art Deco AM tabletop tube radio that is a great candidate for restoration.  The radio powers up when turned on, but only hums, so it will need to be recapped to get it functioning.   As such, the radio is being sold "As Is" for restoration or parts.   Fortunately all of the tubes tested good on my Eico Model 625 tube tester, so that can be eliminated from the restoration process.   Both knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well.  The finish on the body is all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax.  The original cloth power cord is in good condition, still flexible.   The grill cloth has no holes, but needs to be tightened up.  Do not miss out on this opportunity to add this great radio to your collection.  In order to ensure safe delivery, the radio will be double boxed.  Do not hesitate to make an offer all will be considered.
