Weidlich Bros WB Mfg Co Silverplate Berry Salt Pepper Shakers Vintage Pair
Description:
This listing is for a vintage matching pair of Weidlich Brothers / W.B. Mfg. Co. silver-tone salt and pepper shakers featuring an unusual sculptural berry and leaf design.
Each shaker has a large spherical body surrounded by smaller dimensional berries and detailed leaves. Both retain their cork stoppers on the underside.
Condition: Used. Vintage condition with visible surface scratches, tarnish, oxidation, spotting and finish wear from age and previous use. The cork stoppers also show age. They have not been polished, allowing the buyer to decide whether to preserve the existing patina or clean them.
Includes: 2 matching salt and pepper shakers with cork stoppers.
Notes: Maker attribution is based on the W.B. Mfg. Co./Weidlich Brothers identification discussed for this set. I would not describe them as sterling silver unless a sterling mark is confirmed. Metal should be listed as silverplate/silver-tone rather than sterling.
