Wolf Trap Farm Park~Original Pavilion Wooden Blue & White Hanging Sign~Rare~48"
Measures: 48" in length, 8" in width, and 1 1/4" in thickness. Original incised wooden sign from Wolf Trap Farm Park, it's original name. It was renamed a long time ago to Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. Currently, like all National Parks, the signage is primarily a brown color, but originally the signs for Wolf Trap were blue & white. I'm not exactly sure when they changed them, but as a local, I want to say the signage was switched by about the late 1980s. Blue front with incised white lettering, and white back. Two hooks on the top edge, one of which is bent, I'll remove them. This would have hung from mental chains close to the entrance to the Filene Center and was set into a frame. There are some holes in the bottom edge of the sign, where it was affixed into a holder from the bottom side. Weighs 5.5 lbs unpacked, and because of the dimensions will be somewhat pricey to ship. Of course, local pick up is free and will be designated. Great one of a kind venue, and even a cynic would know this piece is very uncommon, probably one of a kind. Items are stored in apet-free environment, but second-handitems which
come from a variety of sources, usually without provenance, are just that.

PAYMENTS
Currently, I accept payments through Paypal. I ship to confirmed addresses associated
with the payment. BIN items require immediate payment. I allow three days for payments
after an sale ends. Unpaid item alerts are filed automatically after that period has passed,
barring a prior arrangement for later payment.
SHIPPING
All items are shipped within one business day, barring emergency or events beyond my control.
Buyers will be notified if shipments are late. Shipping occurs six days a week, exception of holidays
and on occasion a Friday purchase may not ship until Monday morning. All items are shipped with
either USPS or Fed Ex tracking. Fed Ex will not ship to PO boxes, a physical address is required.
I only ship to the lower 48 states using Fed Ex Ground/Home delivery service. If that is noted in
the ad text above, I won't ship to Alaska, Hawaii, FPO/APO, or US Territories.
