This unusual postcard is a panoramic view from Eagle Mountain showing Fourth Lake and the Eagle Bay Hotel. It was hand colored and dates to the early 1900s and consists of 4 continuous panels, measuring about 3.5" x 22" when unfolded. This postcard was published by Edward Sperry, the son of Dwight Sperry, the man who built the hotel. It is unposted with an undivided back. This is a rare - and truly panoramic postcard. We searched quite a while and could not find another online.
There is wear to the edges and folds and it has begun to discolor, but it remains an incredible hand-colored view from 120 years ago.
