Vintage Scrappy Nine-Patch Variant Patchwork QUILT TOP crafted of a variety of feedsack and cotton fabrics from the 1940s and 50s, including a few novelty prints. This is the quilt top only so it is unfinished without backing or batting and has raw edges. Design is made of completely hand-pieced 4.5" square patches - the patches alternate between solid color/print and squares comprised of a patchwork of random fabrics in triangles and diagonal stripes. Measures approximately 72" x 93". Top was not been washed since it was made and does have some surface stains from storage. There are little pieces of newspaper backing used to make the blocks still attached in the stitching. There are no off-putting odors. Top should clean up beautifully with a proper oxi-soak but will leave any cleaning to the new owner. See full description and photos for complete details.
