Offered is a rare Tacoma High School \" Tahoma \" commencement yearbook titled 1907 1/2. This features many advertisements from local businesses, as well as students photos & descriptions, stories and other articles usually found in annuals.Stadium HS was first opened as Tacoma HS in 1906. The structure began life as an intended Tourist Hotel by the Northern Pacific Railway in 1891. However, the building was never completed, shut down in it\'s progress by the Panic of 1893, and a fire within the shell in 1898. In 1904 the Tacoma School District bought the burned out shell, and the new school was first opened in September of 1906 as Tacoma High School, with the first graduating class of seniors in 1907 1/2. The name was changed in 1913 to Stadium HS.It has been featured in movies, and called one of the most beautiful public schools in the United States.This super scarce commencement booklet size is 10 1/2\" by 7\", and it\'s in used condition with lots of wear, tears, loose pages, and paper losses & damages; sold As Is.
