• It shows the Highland Division of theNew York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad as well as the trolleyline between Terryville and Forestville, with a spur to Lake Compounce— still in business today astheoldest continuously operating amusement park in the UnitedStates.
• Also shown on the map is the BristolAirport, previously known as Stephenson Field. It had closed by the late 1950s, andall traces of this airfield are now gone.
• Among the other named places and features on the map areCedar Lake, Chippin Hill, Edgewood, East Plymouth, andPequabuck.
• The map of Plainville is on the reverse side, showing thecontinuationof the trolley line into New Britain, as well as Norton Park, HamlinPond, and the Camp Grounds.
