The first photo is my 1937 45-inch racer, it does not go with this sale. Nice OEM 1948 Harley-Davidson 45 cubic-inch model WL engine bottom end with OEM aluminum heads. Bottom end is in great shape, and is runnable the way it is. New 0.020\" over pistons and rings. Spins freely, rods are snug. No case damage or repair. I had a set of cylinders to go with it, but realized one cylinder was early and one was late. Cylinders are easily available and affordable. Line-bore \"belly\" numbers match (48-1112), VIN is 48WL1057. I don\'t know why number pad is so beat up, I don\'t believe it is a re-stamp.
