Earlier 1950\'s Original Nardi & C Walnut wooden rim steering wheel in 42 cm diameter.
Only the very earlier 1950\'s Nardi & C steering wheels were manufactured with Walnut wooden rim.From the middle 1950\'s, Nardi & C used Mahogany wood.
Earlier black line on top of the wooden rim is made of blackhardwax, same as the vintage old type of sealing wax used to seal on letters.(Not the nowadays soft black sealing wax)Nardi & C used from the late 1950\'s till earlier 1960\'s a sort of graphite black material for the black top line.
This Nardi & C steering wheel has the similar top horn button trim ring as the vintage VDM 550 Spyder wood steering wheel which is bolt on from the underside of the hub with 3 bolts.To release the Porsche horn button , you undo the 3 backside bolts.This prevent damaging the VDM Porsche horn button.
This steering wheel has no corrosion on the aluminum and absolutely no damage or repair on the wooden rim.This steering wheel has only been re-polished, frame and wood.The Horn button is FLAWLESS - it is an original earlier VDM horn buttonHub is in beautiful condition - 2 holes have been added on lower side to be able to place a directional cancel ring.It seems that earlier Porsche 550 Spyder or 356 pre A did not have a directional cancel ring in the early 1950\'s.You will not find a nicer earlier original 1950\'s Porsche 550 Spyder - 356 pre A Nardi & C steering wheel Worldwide.
