The internals of the engine are in good condition … pickled in light oil. The carb needs to be replaced … it has broken internal parts. Prop attachment hub has a split along the keyway on the hub probably from over-tightening at one point. See photos

This engine is a data plate-less McCulloch 0-15-3 used in the WWII Radioplane OQ-3/TDD-2 gunnery target drone. Righter 0-15-3 engines have "Righter" cast into the front of the crankcase; McCulloch engines do not. But all parts are interchangeable between Righter and McCulloch 0-15-3 engines. The prop hub is non-original; the ground out "split" in the hub is to accommodate the Woodruff key in the crankshaft.
