This vintage Tony Guerrero designed ceramic Treasure Craft Double Horse Head Equestrian TV lamp and planter was made in the 1950s. The Treasure Craft Pottery company, based in California, is known for producing collectibles from the mid-century era. The horses are finished with crackle manes and the signature woodgrain bodies that the company was well known for. The horses are made with open mouths and flowing ivory manes to show off their movement and excitement. It depicts two horse heads finished in a wood tone glaze. The mane is finished in an off-white crackle glaze, which is intentional.
The light is working, and has the original cord, which should be updated.
The piece measures approximately 8.5" tall x 10" wide x 6" deep, including the light post spot.
The bottom of the lamp has two original labels:
A gold and red metal label that reads
Treasure Craft
South Gate California
An oval blue label with a black border that reads
Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc.
