This offering issimply a beautiful, authentic vintage clock. It lights properly, runs quietly,and keeps accurate time, as it has done on my office wall for the past year orso of my ownership.
This round 7 Up clockmeasuresapproximately 15\" in diameter, and is about 4\" deep. The face itself featuresthe incredibly bright reds and greens for which 7 Up is so widely known, and isencased between a clear glass dome and the original metal canister.
The clock bottom face reads, \"SWIHARTPRODUCTS – ELWOOD, INDIANA, U.S.A.”. The face condition has only few and minor scratchesor areas of paint loss. No authentic Swihart face is flawless. That said, theface is very nice in both condition as well as appearance, producing a remarkablybright display when lit.
The clockmovementhasrecently beenlubricated. The canister features the Swihart rear wingnutdesign, which allows easy access to the bulb sockets and motor movement. TheSwihart printed label is missing from the canister, but the label backing fromwhich the paper pulled away is still present.
