Vintage Bookends Solid Brass Indian Chief Head Western Decor

This is a wonderful pair of vintage solid brass bookends made in the form of Indian chief heads. These are unmarked but look very much like examples that I’ve seen marked W.D. Allen of Chicago, although less polished. Each measures 6” in height and 4 3/4” in width - together they weigh 8 lbs and 15 oz. They are in very good condition with no noted defect and have not been polished, so they have a nice original patina, It’s difficult to date these precisely, but I would think 1930s era. These are wonderful for a Western decor - nice quality!
