Circa 1950s Large Old Indian Agency House, Portage, Wisconsin, Card No. S-61580A Giant Jumbo Postcard, Unposted.
This house was built in 1832 by the US Government for John Kinzie, the Indian Agent to the Winnebago, and was restored in 1932 by the Wisconsin Society of Colonial Dames. Photography by P. Richard Eells.
Measures approx 6 inches x 9 inches. This postcard is in good to fair vintage condition. There is minor age discoloration with scratches across the front image as well as some creasing and wear along the edges and corners.
