Antique Cornell College Girl Mechanical Pennant Foldout Postcard Poli Vaudeville:
$38.98
Original divided-back era (c. 1907-1915) mechanical novelty postcard from the cataloged College Girl Series featuring Cornell University. This unposted card displays a colorful illustration of an early 1900s fan alongside an embossed-look \"C\" containing the official Cornell seal. The die-cut right edge unfolds into a complete two-part Cornell pennant, with the printed school chant along the bottom front edge. The reverse features a rare period promotional overlay in blue ink for the vaudeville production \"The Rah-Rah Show: The College Girls\" playing one night only at Poli\'s Theatre. Published by the Souvenir Post Card Co. of New York, the card remains in good antique condition for a delicate paper foldout. It exhibits expected edge and corner wear, light age toning, and creasing along the original foldout seam where the pennant extends.
