This is the kind of specimen that stops people mid-stride. Hundreds of gemmy spessartine garnets — the vivid orange variety collectors call \"Fanta\" — are scattered across a complex matrix of smoky quartz crystals and pale microcline feldspar like embers that never cooled. The garnets range from tiny sparkling druzy dots to fully formed dodecahedral crystals, all with that characteristic resinous fire. The smoky quartz adds a moody, silvered depth, while the cream feldspar cleavage faces provide the perfect neutral canvas to let every orange crystal pop. Subtle chlorite dusting hints at the hydrothermal environment where this assemblage crystallized over millions of years.A true multi-mineral display piece — complex, colorful, and completely natural.
