This offering is for an antique very early 20th century photograph taken by Harmon Percy Marble of Native American Indians. This image features a group of eight Native American women in native clothing. A penciled note on the back of the image says it was taken on the Menominee Res in 1914. Mr. Marble worked for the Indian Service from 1911 through 1926 when he retired. During that time he took hundreds of photo\'s of the Navajo, the Hopi, the Sioux and the Menominee. His images are highly desired for their first hand, often unposed qualities of a now vanished way of Native American life. The image measures 5\" by 7\" and the condition is excellent with no rips, tears or repairs. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 5.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
