This really nice HO gauge loco by Trix is 52 2432 00 a DR BR 73 / Bavarian D XII steam locomotive in black livery, it has running number 73 079.
The D XII steam locomotive was manufactured by the Krauss company from 1897 for the Royal Bavarian State Railway . They were purchased in several series with slightly different dimensions in a total of 96 examples for service on the branch lines leading from Munich to the mountains, but were freely stationed in many large Bavarian railway depots . Two machines with the company numbers 2240 and 2252 were given to the Pfalzbahn in 1916, the other 94 later went to the Deutsche Reichsbahn and were classified as series 73 0-1 with the company numbers 73 031-124.
They were in service until 1948.
The loco is in good condition as you can see in the pictures, it is tested and runs with working lights, a complete external visual inspection has shown the overall condition is very good but would benefit from a good cleaning. The box is in good if slightly shelf worn condition.
Overall this is a really nice scale locomotive and would look fantastic on a layout.
Do please have a look at my other listings, I typically have various HO and OO locos on offer as well as an extensive range of imported N gauge locos and other items.
Note: I do recommend all locos are cleaned & serviced, as they have some age to them even if the quality looks at the highest level (fairly standard advice for all locos!).
