I am not a certification or grading expert, but I have done the best I can to rate carefully and conservatively. I don’t believe I’m qualified to specify + or – or numeric grades, so unless the book is borderline and hard for me to determine which grade to go with, I stick with broad categories such as VERY GOOD, FINE, and NEAR MINT. For example, if I call a book VERY FINE, it could be VF+, VF or VF- (however if it seems like it could be near mint I may call it VF+). I’ll have to leave it up to the buyers and experts to make more specific determinations. I hope I have provided enough text and photographic info for you. No attempts at restoration have been made.
