AUTOGRAPHS like recent vintage MOVIE POSTERS have a horrible fake problem , I was in a comic book store in L.A. and I had a few minutes to talk to Leonardo Decaprio while we both waited for the store managers attention and he told me ALL those Titanic signed posters on sale were AT THAT TIME fake , I actually didn’t believe him it seemed impossible , until a few month later this same statement by him made the national news /at least I heard it mentioned on THE HOWARD STERN SHOW myself and I realized it simply must be true . There is no shortage of dealers in autographs who are POND SCUM ! ,like the big movie poster dealers who leave out any mention there selling reprints/fakes in their WEB or sale listings THERE DISHONEST POND SCUM don’t give them any business !.I saw a signed Titanic for sale about every day for months by lots of dealers with their - they wrote up themselves JOKE C.O.A. 'S this is short for - Certificate of Authenticity , I am not in the autograph business but a little so far and I do not offer or have any knowledge/expertise of these certificates myself . These autographs I have for sale are mostly on 50 to 90 year old paper and on STUDIO STATIONARY sometimes there is no chance whatsoever this could be faked ,and they represent solid investments therefore . As far as the ones I offer that aren't so obvious I use and I STRONGLY SUGGEST - you use - the books / price guides available which illustrate a example of the celebrities signature and FORGET THEM AND IT if its a simple or horrible signature . A decent Complex fancy signature simply cannot be faked and why buy it if its no effort went into it ? , sometimes celebrities have the fast horrible autograph version and a very different one when there trying to look good , I would stick to the later for investment purposes. Add 9.25% sales tax if your a California resident. I don't sell unlicensed reprints, especially by misrepresenting them as original , all sales are for theatrical distribution studio issued one sheet size 27 by 40 inch original movie posters unless otherwise noted.
