This is a beautiful 2015 Yamaha SR400 located in La Jolla, California (San Diego) with a clean California title. A gorgeous classic Yamaha 400cc retro that will turn heads wherever you go. It was designed to replicate the Triumph Bonneville of the 1960s. A true retro, it is kick start only. A sight glass along with a decompression lever helps you find the right position of kick start lever to make kick-starting easy. People are charmed by the style and historic significance of this motorcycle, and are eager to reminisce with you about it. Fuel injected, the motorcycle is in perfect cosmetic and mechanical condition and runs perfectly. I am the second owner, have owned and garaged it since January 7, 2020. Fuel economy is excellent, I average 62 mpg. It has been meticulously maintained, garaged, ridden 2-3 times per week, and has only 8,602 miles on it. The seat, paint, chrome, etc, are like new. I installed a Givi windscreen for greater comfort at high speeds. The motorcycle needs nothing -- it is completely ready to ride and enjoy. Included is the original tool kit.Two important standard features of this motorcycle that you don't find on most new motorcycles are a center stand and a helmet lock. The center stand is of practical use when maintaining rear wheel or cleaning & lubing the chain. The helmet lock is, in my opinion, the most underrated accessory on a motorcycle. It provides a means to lock your helmet to your motorcycle after parking, and thus frees you from having to carry the helmet with you while you shop or attend a function. Some riders store their helmet in a top box or just place it unsecured on their bike when parked, but for me, you can't beat a built-in helmet lock.I wish to emphasize that whoever buys this motorcycle will indeed be very fortunate and proud to own this classic.
